Accessibility

Great Shelford Parish Council (GSPC)  is committed to providing a high level of accessibility to our website for all users. To this end, we have worked hard to adhere to the W3C accessibility and usability guidelines, including structuring the page formats so that they are compatible with screen readers.

This site uses style sheets. To turn these off, or to apply your own personal style sheets, please go to: Tools, Internet Options, General, Accessibility (on Internet Explorer browsers. Instructions for other browsers may vary). Also, to increase the font size, hold down the Ctrl key at the bottom left of your keyboard and press the + key. (Ctrl and the – key reverses this).

The site contains a variety of Adobe Acrobat (pdf) documents. If your reader is not compatible with these documents and the Acrobat reader product, Adobe provide a free online tool which converts the content of PDF files to a format which can be understood by most screen reader applications: www.adobe.com. The URL of the documents can be submitted either via email or web form, and the content is returned, converted to HTML or to plain text to your web browser.

For any further accessibility issues, please contact GSPC .
